A turn in fortune for the Phoenix

Hi Everyone!

Well the last 2 weeks has been a lot better for the team results wise. To be honest we haven’t really changed a whole lot. We've continued to work hard in practice and focus on the little things that needed to be improved on. Eventually our results started to turn and up until Thursday we were on a 4 game win streak. In the last 5 games we have only conceded 12 goals. We needed to address that part and I think we have done it well over the last 2 weeks. This weekend we are in Sheffield on Saturday then home to Romford on Sunday. Sheffield gave us a tough game last weekend and will be out to get some revenge. Romford we beat comfortably recently but they have beaten us twice so we can’t afford to take the night off. Fingers crossed!

Away from the rink there has been a few things going on. The Dizee Rascal concert was really good. all the guys had a great time and it was a great show. Steven Gerrard was even there! Foney and Woody went to stereophonics a few days after and they said it was even better than Dizee so they must have been really good! I played my first round of golf of the year last week with Neilly and Joe at Mottram Hall. Expectations were low for all of us I think but we all played very well and i managed to shoot a one over par 73. makes me think I’m in the wrong sport sometimes!!!
