Adam Walker: Blog 2 by Adam Walker

Hi everyone!

Well its been a couple of weeks since i wrote the last blog and things are still going well here in Manchester. We had a great weekend just there picking up 4 points away to Basingstoke and then home to Swindon. Basingstoke away on the Saturday was a really important game for our club, having lost to Slough the previous Sunday we needed to bounce back straight away. Sunday against Swindon was a very different game but just as tough and to play well again was a real boost for the guys.

So far the league has been really competitive and its shaping up to be very exciting and we're not even at christmas yet! As a club its important to stay focussed and take each game one at a time and i think if we do that we'll be there or there abouts at the end of the season. Im confident we can do it!

This week has been another good week of practise. Rob Lachowicz lost juice boy 2 out of 3 this week so the boys are all letting him know about it every chance they get. He had to wear his helmet to breakfast club today (Fri) as forfeit. Ben Wood also lost again to me in our weekly tennis match. He blames a cough but really its just excuses. Pick it up Gino!!!

So this weekend we are at home to Bracknell which will be tough as they had a really good win against Milton Keynes last week. We then go to MK on Sunday which is always difficult to win there. The guys know what is expected of them though and we will be go into each game with confidence and a winning mindset.

Best of luck to everyones teams this weekend!
