It's good to have Ed back... by Adam Walker

Hi Everyone!

Well the last couple of weeks have been interesting up here in Manchester. We managed to finally snap our losing streak against Peterborough which has lifted a big weight o our shoulders. With Ed coming back into the line up that helped us a lot and gave us a full squad which we haven’t had since the middle of December. The boys are still in good spirit though and we are ready for our home and home battle against Guildford this weekend. Guildford have had a few injuries this year which is never easy to deal with but they've hung in there and with a couple of wins they could be up there challenging for the league again. They have a lot of quality and thats always going to make playing against them difficult. We however have to play catch up with MK and Slough so its vital that we can come away with 2 points at least. Ideally we want all 4.

Moving away from the rink the guys have been up to all sorts. Joe lost moustache boy today so he has to grow his till the end of the month. James Neil bought a hamster which he's named Bean after Rob Lachowicz (dont ask me why). Myself and Ben Wood (Gino) played some squash this week instead of tennis and I did’nt do too well. He's pretty good at it so I let him have his moment of glory but I'll be gunning or him next week. Our teams fantasy football league is getting closer too. Luke Boothroyd is still at the top but since he organised it there is a belief from the boys its being fixed. I’m sure he is cheating somehow!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!
