We're ready for the semis
Hi everyone!
Well we are around two months in to the season already and it has flown by. Six weeks to Christmas, who would have thought that? Things have been going pretty well up here in Glasgow so far. We are undefeated in the Challenge Cup and have qualified for the semi finals. We want to push for that top spot however as I think that would be great for our fans to experience. In the league it has been pretty up and down. We still have to find out a way to win consistently away from home but we are working hard to make that happen and this weekend heading to Cardiff will be an ideal chance to show we can do it. At home minus one slip up to Nottingham we are doing really well. I always think it’s important to win your home games and then chip away on the road.
Away from the rink it’s been pretty quiet. Jade, Soupy and Jordan are stressing out over NFL fantasy, while Brucy is doing the same over his NHL. I’ve managed to get a few games of golf in and also started playing Soupy at Tennis at the Scotstoun Academy. It’s a great facility and the indoor courts are in great condition. We have a team paintball outing coming up on Wednesday which should be a lot of fun and I’m sure there will be a few competitive games going on so I would expect to see a few bruises here and there.
As for this weekend (12th/13th), we have Fife at home which is always fun for me and as i mentioned before Cardiff away on Sunday. As a team we know four points is very achievable and I think if we came out with two it would not be a successful week. We will see what happens though and hopefully we can do the business.
