Telling who is who?
Here is a different one for you - team shirts.
When I was in Coventry last Sunday doing their web cast one of the viewers text in saying they couldn't tell the home team from the away team watching the show.
This got me thinking, and it was a good point being well made. Sure I was at the game and I could tell the difference but the grey and purple of Braehead was too close to the tops of the Blaze.
Last night I recorded the SKY highlights show and when I saw the game on the telly I agreed with the texter, the kits were too close.
Hull have decided to move away from the White at Home, they aren't the first. I thought it was agreed that a light colour, white bases would be used at home and then a darker kit on the road.
In recent years the league had to approve kits, clubs had to send designs in to the league so that a clash didn’t take place. That is obviously another thing that clubs have disregarded and just gone along in their own way.
Yes you have to blame the clubs for just doing this but surely the league does have to show some leadership here and sort this issue out.
Video after the game, that’s another so called league rule, yet many times a club will drive out of the rink car park on the way home without a video / dvd. Its a league rule - why is this also allowed to happen?
