The hockey season finally dawned this weekend, to the excitement of many Phoenix fans.
The start of the new season, for me, is a chance to catch up with friends I’ve not been able to see for the five months since the play off weekend.
After the weekend’s games, Monday 19th September saw Manchester Phoenix host their yearly “Meet the Players” event. This is an evening where the team is formally introduced to the fans, and then there is a chance to chat to the players.
There are still a few weeks to go before the season starts, so I thought I’d share with you my thoughts on perspective. We’ve all got different perspectives on life, and the same can be said of hockey.
Welcome, one and all to my brand new blog. I’d like to introduce myself before I begin, my name is Vicki Smart and this coming season will be my third year following the Manchester Phoenix, in the English Premier League.
