Saturday Swindon will play the first of their two home fixtures for the weekend when they face third in league side, the Guildford Flames.
Forward Adam Walker netted a third period treble against the Peterborough Phantoms on Sunday night to seal a four point weekend for the Manchester Phoenix as they started to regain their form.
A league outing in Peterborough on Saturday proved to be trouble as a pair of Phantoms goals in the opening period set the stage for a futile night of ‘catch up’ hockey.
The Guildford Flames ice hockey club stepped onto Slough Jets ice on Thursday night holding down a 4-2 lead in the two leg aggregate cup semi final.
This Saturday the Swindon Wildcats take to the ice to face local rivals the Bracknell Bees in what is lining up to be a huge fixture.
