Hutchins returns for second year with Fife

Fife Flyers have confirmed the return of assistant coach Jeff Hutchins to work alongside Todd Dutiaume for a second season.

The former Dundee Stars head coach replaced Danny Stewart last summer in the role as Flyers ended the Elite League season in sixth place.

“I am extremely excited to be coming back for another year – I thought Todd and I worked well together both from a hockey and personal point of view,” said Hutchins.

“It made sense on both sides to do it for another year and I think being confirmed earlier this year it will help share the workload on the recruitment side of things as well.

“I really enjoyed last season and I really got a true sense of the passion and history behind the Flyers organisation.

“It was an up and down season for the team, however there were a lot more positives than negatives.

“But my ambitions remain the same, we want to win every game we can and challenge for a piece of silverware.”
