McDonald’s, Official Sponsor of the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, has teamed up with britishicehockey.co.uk in their search to find two young winter sports enthusiasts to go to Canada and be a part of the action at the Olympic Winter Games. 

McDonald’s is looking for Ice Hockey fans to nominate a child, grandchild, niece or nephew to be a McDonald’s Champion Kid at this year’s Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver.  They’re not looking for the nation’s best winter sports athlete, they are searching for children who show dedication, enthusiasm and a real passion for the sport! 

The selected two winners will go on the trip of a lifetime to experience the Olympic Winter Games. 

The full prize package includes:

·         Trip for winning child and one parent/guardian.

·         Flights and transfers to Vancouver.

·         Three nights’ accommodation: 20th – 23rd February 2009.

·         Tickets to watch USA vs. Canada Ice Hockey match.

·         Access to the Athletes Village.

·         Sightseeing around Vancouver – sleigh riding at Grouse Mountain and Capilano Bridge and Tree-top Walk.
