The hockey season is back, and you can follow it all with us right here on BIH.

The Bracknell Bees are delighted to announce the signing of another key British forward for the 2011/12 English Premier Ice Hockey league campaign - former Guildford Flames captain Rob Lamey.
30-year old Rob moves to the Hive following five successful and productive seasons with the Flames, where he regularly played alongside Bees' assistant coach Lukas Smital. Last year, his ice time was sadly hampered by a mid-season illness but he still picked up 25 points in 21 games (8 goals and 17 assists).
Rob is a product of the Guildford junior system and was selected to represent Great Britain in two Under 20s World Championships in 1999 and 2000. He has played well over 500 games for the Flames in his senior career and also spent time at Basingstoke, Swindon and the Isle of Wight - where in three seasons between 2003 and 2006 with the Wightlink Raiders, he picked up an impressive 176 points (66 goals and 110 assists) in 124 games.
Bees head coach Gareth Cox said - "I'm so pleased to have Rob on board. He has immense experience, is extremely professional and knows how to win. He is the perfect role model for some of our more junior players. As soon as we knew that he was being released by Guildford, we were determined to get Rob to come to Bracknell. His leadership skills are well known and he will have a big influence in the changing room. He has also proven that he is an offensive threat, is one of the most solid face-off men in the League and I know that he is hungry to get back on the ice and help us after a shortened season."
Rob Lamey said - "I'm excited to be joining the Bees and the new challenge ahead. It's always tough leaving a club after spending so many happy seasons there, but I've been impressed with what Gareth and Lukas are planning to do in Bracknell and the team seems to be coming together nicely."
