Back for Moore with the Bees

The Bracknell Bees are pleased to announce that popular British defenceman, Shane Moore, is returning for the 2010/11 English Premier Ice Hockey League season.

Shane joined the club in July 2009 from the Swindon Wildcats and enjoyed a “career season” in his first campaign in a Bees’ jersey, bagging 3 goals and 15 assists in 53 matches. The 23-year old Swindon native formed a solid partnership on the blue line with Greg Randall and was another inspirational figure in the dressing room, when he determinedly continued to play through a number of matches with a fractured jaw.

Shane has great EPIHL experience and has also previously been selected to represent the GB National team on four occasions in the World Junior Championships at both Under 18 and Under 20 levels. Bees Head Coach Gareth Cox is pleased with his latest recruit; "I'm very happy that Shane has agreed to come back. He is a steady defender that does not mind to play a physical game when needed. He makes sure that he plays the basics very well, is a positive influence in the dressing room and I expect Shane to be a strong asset for us."
