The Bracknell Bees are delighted to announce that talented 17-year old British forward, Callum Best, has joined the team.
Callum is a product of the junior system in Guildford and last season played alongside Bees’ captain Terry Miles, for the Flames in the English Premier Ice Hockey League (EPIHL).
Callum began this season with local rivals the Slough Jets, but following a recent decision by him to increase his playing opportunities, Bees’ Head Coach, Claude Dumas, decided to immediately snap him up.
Claude said; “I have heard a lot of good things about Callum from Terry and the other senior players on the Team.
"Although he is only 17, he already has some sound EPIHL experience under his belt and I am looking forward to seeing what he will add to the Bees. Callum is an energetic and enthusiastic player who needs the opportunity to show fans what he can do and I know that he will be a positive addition to the team."
Subject to the relevant League clearances, Callum could make his Bracknell debut in the Bees’ home match against the Sheffield Scimitars on Saturday 14th November, face off at 6.00pm.
