The hockey season is back, and you can follow it all with us right here on BIH.
We are working on an archive of matches, stats and players from BIH in the past few years.

Coventry Blaze returned to the top of the Elite Ice Hockey League table with a highly entertaining 6-4 win over big local rivals, Nottingham Panthers at the Skydome Arena last Sunday and now have their sights set on another of the sports big guns – Sheffield Steelers at home on Sunday night (Face off 6pm). The Steelers come to Coventry as the defending league Champions and although they have so far failed to consistently find their top form, their recent heroics in the European Cup would suggest that they are getting back to their best and will provide a really tough test for Paul Thompson’s men. “The Steelers have won the last three domestic trophies and you don’t do that without being a very good team,” said Thompson. “We’re still struggling with injuries, with Greg Owen, Tom Watkins and Tom Ledgard still sidelined and the Steelers know that this is a great opportunity for them to come into our building and turn us over. We have to be ready for that and produce the same level of performance that we did against the Panthers last Sunday. The players know the importance of this game and they will be ready.” “We have a really tough series of games in December with Sheffield, Belfast and Cardiff still to visit us this month,” added Blaze General Manager, James Pease. “But that makes for some fantastic entertainment for our supporters. Our matchnight presenter, John Dalziel does an amazing job and the entertainment that’s been on offer, both on and off the ice, at our recent home games has been incredible. I’d encourage everyone to come down to one of these December games to see for themselves and to have a really great night.” Tickets for Sunday’s game are available now from the box office on 02476 630693 or by booking online at www.coventryblaze.co.uk. They can also be purchased on the door on the night of the game but for the best seats, booking in advance is advised. Tickets are priced at £15 for adults, £7 for under 16’s, £10 for NUS Extra card holders and OAP’s and there is a 2 adult/2 child family ticket available for £38. The game starts at 6pm and doors open at 5pm.
