Bronnimann back for Bison
The Basingstoke Bison are delighted to announce that Ollie Bronnimann has been re-signed for the 2011/12 English Premier League season.
The 24-year old forward will make it three years in a row with the Herd, after the Margate-born player first appeared for the club in our inaugural EPL season.
Bronnimann was the leading British goal scorer for the Herd last season - scoring 35 goals and notching 22 assists as he finished the season with 57 points.
Director of Ice Hockey Steve Moria is pleased to be welcoming Ollie back into the line-up.
"Ollie scored a lot of goals for the Bison last season and was one of the most potent forwards in the EPL. A number of teams were interested in signing Ollie but fortunately he chose to stay in Basingstoke!"
Speaking ahead of his third season with the Bison, Bronnimann said,
"I'm delighted to be signing for the Bison again this season. I believe each year we had got stronger as a team and were unlucky not to win a trophy last year and I hope to bring one to Basingstoke this year."
The Herd will be making another announcement at 10am tomorrow (Wednesday 20th April) so visit the website then to find out which player has put pen-to-paper for the Stampede.
Following the success of last season’s Own-and-Loan jersey’s, the Basingstoke Bison are once delighted to offer the opportunity for fans to ‘Own-and-Loan’ the home and away jersey’s that will be worn by the Bison throughout the 2011/12 season.
Each player’s home and away jersey will be available to purchase at £150 and £120 respectively. All Owners and Loaners will have their name printed on the back of the player’s jersey, as well as having the opportunity of a photograph with their respective player at the end of the season.
Ollie Bronnimann's jersies is now up for grabs. All you have to do is e-mail info@bstokebison.co.uk - the shirts will be dealt with on a first-come, first-served basis, when the announcement is made on the Official Basingstoke Bison website.
