Build on positives, says Speer

Dan Speer is in his first professional season, having joined the Vipers from Lakehead University in his home town Thunder Bay Ontario.
The Canadian forward spoke with Vipers Hockey after the double defeat to Coventry Blaze and looked ahead to the match up with Hull and Edinburgh.
After coach Danny Stewart spoke of the inconsistency of this players, Speer said the guys on the ice are as frustrated as the fans in the stands.
"It's certainly frustrating, you always want to be improving, especially as we haven't had the best of starts to the season," he said.
"You can't be going up and down each weekend, you have to be on a gradual climb - that's what you would like to happen.
"It'll come in time I'm sure, we need to work harder in the week and remain focussed."
Looking ahead to the visit of Hull and the trip to Edinburgh, Speer remains upbeat.
"This weekend we build off the positives from Sunday and play better and repeat what we did against Braehead.
"The team is still growing together, there's a lot of guys in their first and second year as pro and there's been a big adjustment to the League. We've been together a month now and I think we're going to continue to get better."
