The hockey season is back, and you can follow it all with us right here on BIH.
We are working on an archive of matches, stats and players from BIH in the past few years.

Back to some weekend action at Braehead following a midweek fixture for Braehead Clan also this week. Saturday night brought Scottish team Fife Flyers to Braehead to take on the Clan who were looking to get back on their home winning streak. And in front of a healthy home crowd, get back on it they did.
Clan Captain, Jordan Krestanovich, opened the scoring as he netted at 4.08. The home side then doubled their lead at 7.20 as Jim Jorgenson netted with a powerplay goal. The hosts looked to be on easy street as Vince Connon netted the third at 11.44. However, with two seconds remaining in the first period Matt Siddall scored for the visitors.
The Clan restored their three-goal lead at 22.06 with a strike from Brock McPherson. Siddall with his second goal of the game scored on the powerplay at 32.16 and then with six seconds remaining Mike Hamilton with another powerplay goal cut the deficit to one.
Krestanovich with his second of the game on the powerplay at 47.50 opened up a two-goal lead for the hosts. However, back came the Flyers and a goal from Danny Stewart at 52.37 reduced it to one once again.
A 5 on 3 powerplay goal from Mike Bayrack at 55.17 gave the host some breathing space going into the last five minutes. With Zemlak off for the extra skater Krestanovich was on hand to find the empty net and complete his hat trick.
Main men of the night were Jordan Krestanovich picking up a hat trick and Jade Galbraith assisting on five of the goals and Brit roster feature Matt Haywood picking up Man of the Match for the home side.

It was straight back on the ice after the game for the home team as the fans joined them on home ice for the first Skate with the Clan session of the season. Fans young and old were welcome onto the ice to skate with the team, have pictures taken, get autographs signed and maybe even pick up a few skating tips. A great time was had by all, especially the new faces on the Clan roster as for some of them this was their first skating with fans experience.
Clan’s next home game is Saturday 29th October when the Clan look to continue their wins when they take their other Scottish opponents, Edinburgh Capitals. Face off is 7pm and tickets can be bought online via Ticketmaster or by calling the Ticket Hotline on 0844 499 1700.
