Clouts might take back seat

Excel Hull Stingrays player-coach Sylvain Cloutier is mulling over the possibility of sitting out against Sheffield Steelers and Cardiff Devils this weekend and stand on the bench.
Cloutier admitted he thought about doing just that against Nottingham Panthers and Coventry Blaze having seen Stingrays return to a full line-up for the first time this season.
He said: “I would love to stand behind the bench and coach the team. But I think I bring a lot on the ice too, I am an intense guy, a physical guy out there and we don’t have too many of those players. We’ll see.
"It’s my decision, it’s my job to coach the team and I feel we have nine forwards who are capable of playing so maybe I do take the weekend off from playing and go behind the bench and coach. I will see how it goes this week and if I feel I need to be behind the bench maybe I will."
