Clouts to get knee checked out

Excel Hull Stingrays player-coach Sylvain Cloutier will this week get his knee injury assessed to determine the extent of the problem.
Cloutier was forced to sit out his first game of the season as Stingrays lost 7-4 to Edinburgh Capitals in the Elite League clash in Murrayfield, Jason Silverthorn (2), Lee Mitchell and James Sanford scoring.
He said: “It’s very stiff. I am going to get it checked out this week. I hope it’s only a sprain.”
On the game, Cloutier added: “Give them credit, they outbattled us. It was their third game in three nights and sometimes that can backfire on you. But it is another disappointing weekend. We were hoping for four points, that was our goal, but it went the other way.”
