The hockey season is back, and you can follow it all with us right here on BIH.
We are working on an archive of matches, stats and players from BIH in the past few years.

This game was late in starting due to severe weather conditions between Cardiff and Coventry. With both Nottingham and Belfast losing last night Coventry had a great chance to open up a 7 point lead.
But it looks as though the top three are all suffering from the jitters at the moment. When one team has a chance to either get back in it or to pull away they seem to shoot themselves in the foot.
Having gone behind to two first period goals the home side got right back into it as they tied the game up with two second period goals. But it was the visitors who took the initiative in the third period as they hit three without reply with Mark Smith getting the game winner and then Wes Jarvis finding the empty net.
Despite arriving late Devils wasted no time to take the advantage as Matt Miller (25th) opened the scoring at 5.11.The Blaze had a chance to level the game in the 11th minute as they went on a 5 on 3 powerplay. But the Devils killed of both penalties and then doubled their lead with a second goal from Wes Jarvus (19th) on the powerplay at 17.26.
Inside the first minute of the second period Coventry went on the powerplay and Stevie Lyle lost his first goal in 165 minutes 43 seconds of play as Luke Fulghum (42nd) netted on the powerplay at 20.32. Then in the 24th minute Blaze were again on a 5 on 3 powerplay with Devils Brad Voth ejected on a 5 plus game for elbows. The home side made no mistake this time as Brian Lee (7th) levelled the game with a powerplay goal at 27.20.
The visitors regained the lead as Mark Smith (20th) scored on the powerplay at 42.39. Then they got their two goal lead back that they had held in the first period when Phil Hill (20th) netted at 50.59. With goaltender Peter Hirsch off for the extra man Wes Jarvis (19th) completed the scoring as he hit the empty net at 59.10.
Five seconds after the goal the penalty box got a rather busy place as Stewart (Coventry) and Richardson (Cardiff) both got two plus two for roughing. Campbell (Coventry) received two for roughing plus a match for abuse and Cruickshank received two for roughing plus a game misconduct along with a match for travesty.
