Holland looking for back to back wins

Having started the season split on a two way deal between the Manchester Phoenix and the Dundee Stars, British forward Dean Holland is no stranger to this weekend’s opponents. The Dundee Stars are visitors to Whitley Bay Ice Rink on Saturday (7.00pm) with the Vipers finishing their 2010/11 season off in Scotland on Sunday.
However despite the Vipers now unable to qualify for the end of season playoffs, Holland is looking for back to back wins to finish the season off in style.
“We are just going to approach both games as like we would any other weekend” confirmed Holland. “We want to finish the season on a high. This season we have the best bunch of guys that I’ve had the pleasure of having as team-mates. Without the positive attitudes of everyone in the organisation we wouldn’t have made it through the season on and off the ice.
“We’ll be heading into the Dundee games wanting all four points. The games between us have been very close and I don’t expect these games to be any different. The fans deserve a good weekend for the way they have supported us through thick and thin this season.
“As a team we can’t thank the fans enough for how much they have supported us, through the bad time and the good time. They have certainly been an inspiration and kept us going in the face of adversity.”
