Hutchinson: We cant wait
James Hutchinson has backed Excel Hull Stingrays to finally get their season going as they prepare to ice a full roster for the first time this term.
The British defenceman returns from a broken hand and Canadian forward Jason Silverthorn is also available after a broken jaw as Stingrays face back-to-back home games against Nottingham Panthers and Coventry Blaze this weekend.
Hutchinson said: "Being out has been driving me mental and I have felt so guilty seeing the guys play under-strength. It’s been a horrible feeling watching. But I am on a high now and am excited about getting back into the line-up at the weekend.
"Hopefully we can get two home wins and get our season going. We know we are as good as other teams in the league, we just need to prove it to everyone else. Having Silver back is a huge boost. He is a massive offensive threat, a quality player who has shown before he can put up numbers in this league and is a player any team would like to have. Everyone is pumped up for the weekend and we can't wait."
