ICE WARS: The Vipers Strike Back

ICE WARS: The Vipers Strike Back

A long time ago, in an ice rink far, far away...

It is a period of Ice Wars.  Vipers skaters, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Steel Empire.

During the battle, Vipers spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empire's ultimate weapon, the House of Steel, an armoured Arena with enough power to destroy an entire hockey team.

Pursued by the Empire's sinister agents, Danny Stewart races home aboard his team bus, custodian of the stolen plans that can save his team and restore freedom to the League....

With apologies to George Lucas, the Newcastle Vipers are delighted to announce that their home League opener will be "Ice Wars: The Vipers Strike Back!"

The first of the club's monthly promotion games will see fans skate with the players before the game, have the chance to get an autograph afterwards with a full squad signing session, and enjoy fast paced, hard hitting Elite League hockey against one of the Vipers biggest rivals.

There will be Star Wars music, competitions and fun games throughout the night as the Vipers look to get off to the best possible start in the new season with a brand new team.

Tickets for the game are now available from the club via the office line on 0191 4774100 or online at vipershockey.co.uk/shop.  It is not possible to use the Force to buy tickets just yet, but we're working on it!

Between now and the puck dropping on the night, VipersHockey.co.uk will keep you updated with what's happening on the night and the promotion push that the club will be undertaking to get fans along to support the team.

The fans can also help out with the first game of the season by publicising the game to their family, friends and around their workplace.

Stay tuned to VipersHockey.co.uk from the latest news from the Dark Side, and remember...

The Force will be with you... always.
