Official Slough Jets Media Release

Slough Jets Head Coach Peter Russell is delighted to announce he’s captured the signature of Elite League experienced Slava Koulikov.  The 31 year old forward, born in Russia, joins the Jets with immediate effect.

Russell explains, “It's not every day that players like Slava are available so I am delighted to have got him, he is a strong addition to our team.  Slava has skill to burn and can make things happen on the ice. When I knew he was interested in coming I knew I had to make it happen.”

Slava Koulikov, who is 5ft 9 and weighs in at 170lbs brings with him experience from the BNL, ENL, EPL and EIHL and joins the Jets from Hull Stingrays.

On his joining the Jets he says, “After talking to Pete about Slough and his team, I knew it was the move I realy wanted to make. I believe I am joining a team with a lot of really good players on it, and I will do all I can to add to it.

The guys all want to win and so do I .They have made a solid start to the season and I can't wait to get down to Slough and become a part of it!

Russell continues, “I believe we needed another skilled forward and hence my reasoning for making the change.  We have a lot of power in our team and another highly skilled guy like Slava will only make us a stronger all-round team.”
