The Slough Jets are delighted to announce the re-signing of British forward Joe Greener for the 2010/11 season. The top British player will head into his second season at The Hanger having signed from Berkshire rivals, the Bracknell Bees last summer.

The 23-year-old has also played in the North American Hockey League with Cleveland and Traverse City before heading back to the UK in 2008.

A delighted Pete Russell today spoke about his recent capture: “Joe is a player every team needs, a power forward who likes to drive the net and a guy with a good all-round game. He’s strong at both end of the ice so I am delighted he has agreed to stay especially when he had a lot of interest from the Elite League and other EPL teams.

“Joe was our top British points scorer last season and a big big part of my roster, I believe we will get even more out of him this coming season as he develops and I am excited to be continuing that work with him.”
