Liska joins changed Wildcats
Swindon Wildcats ice hockey are delighted to announce the addition of Slovak power forward Jozef Liska to their English Premier Ice Hockey league roster for next season.
Scouted as a hard-working good skater who works hard every single time he takes to the ice, the 6'2" forward comes as a gritty and hard-nosed player determined to make an impression in the EPL. "Jozef's style of play is going to be perfect in the team we are building," said Head Coach Ryan Aldridge of his latest signing. "All of the references we have received from players that have played with him and against him say the same positive message. "He is a guy that can work the corners but still has a knack for putting the puck away."
An experienced play-making forward with a natural eye for goal, 30 year-old Liska joins the Wildcats from the Slovenian league where he achieved 20 goals and 18 assists in 36 games, most recently with Partizan Beograd.
