The hockey season is back, and you can follow it all with us right here on BIH.
We are working on an archive of matches, stats and players from BIH in the past few years.

Newcastle Vipers General Manager Jaimie Longmuir is looking forward to the visit of the Dundee CCS Stars on Saturday (7.00pm face-off) for the Winn’s Vipers last home game of the 2010/11 season. Since Dundee’s arrival into the Elite League last summer the Stars and Vipers have built up a bit of a rivalry with no love lost between the two teams.
“The Stars and Vipers have been close in the league standings for most of the season” said Longmuir.
“So when we’ve come up against each other the games have always been very close and very competitive. There has been no love lost between both sets of players which has resulted in some very interesting games for the supporters. Even though Dundee have now qualified for the playoffs I am sure that neither team will want to lose and come away with the bragging rights.”
Longmuir also went onto hail both sets of supporters who have helped build the rivalry. The Vipers have already filled a bus to travel to Dundee on Sunday with the same number of Stars fans expected at Whitley on Saturday.
“Dundee supporters have turned up to Whitley in numbers and vice versa with Vipers fans travelling up to Scotland” confirmed the Vipers chief.
“With this being the last weekend of the season for the Vipers we’d like to see as many people come and support both teams so we can finish the season in style. I’d like to thank both the Newcastle and Dundee supporters for their continued support this season and hopefully the back to back games this weekend will be enjoyable as all the games have been this season between the two teams.”
