New look Northern League
The English Ice Hockey Association and Scottish Ice Hockey Limited are pleased to announce the expansion of the Northern League to include the Solway Sharks, Fife Flyers, Whitley Warriors, Northern Stars, Blackburn Hawks, Bradford Bulldogs and Sheffield Spartans. The league will start on Saturday 4th September 2010 and will finish by 13th March 2011 with a top four playoff weekend scheduled for the 19th / 20th March 2011. The revamped Northern League will be launched with a tournament at Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena on the weekend of 28th / 29th August 2010. The league will allow two non British trained players.
