Panthers shoot down the Stars
The GMB Nottingham Panthers took full advantage of a flatfooted Dundee outfit to hand-out a 12-2 drubbing on Saturday night.
Bottom of the table Dundee had picked up their first point of the year at top of the table Belfast on Thursday but after horrendous travel problems getting back to Scotland, they came out flat in the TrentFM Arena and were deservedly three down in five minutes and taking their time-out to no avail.
Panthers scored four goals in each period with David Clarke bagging a hat-trick along the way. Nottingham outshot Dundee 59 - 25.

Elsewhere in the league on Saturday the Braehead Clan shut out the Steelers in Sheffield (0-4), and Newcastle beat our Sunday opponents Hull (5-3). In our Challenge Cup group Coventry came from behind to win in Cardiff (2-7).
The GMB Panthers are next at home, to more Scottish opposition, when Edinburgh visit next Saturday.
Season ticket holders are reminded that Sunday (October 17th) is their last chance to buy their particular locations for the upcoming cup clash with Sheffield in Nottingham on October 27th. You can buy on line and choose to have the game added to your card electronically.
