Phantoms have commenced their team building for the 2010/2011 campaign with the key signing of netminder Stephen Wall. Wall proved to be a consistent and, often, standout performer during a difficult 2009/2010 campaign and was recognised by coaches, players and fans alike when making a clean sweep of the end of season awards.

A club spokesman added, "whenever you look to build a strong team, you start with the key position of netminder and we are lucky to have in our ranks one of the best performers in the league. Stephen was always going to be our number one priority signing for 2010/2011 and we are delighted to have him back on board".

Phantoms hope to make at least one further player signing announcement this week as new coach Curtis Cruikshank starts the task of building a competitive side for the new season.
