Raiders snap-up McAllister from Vipers

The Wightlink Raiders have signed former Elite League netminder Liam McAllister for the new season adding more quality and experience as they look to defend their ENL South title.
21 year old Liam was back up for Newcastle Vipers last season after previously spending 5 seasons with ENL North champions Whitley Warriors where he played alongside Nathan Taylor. His signing brings the number of new faces to this year’s team to seven.
Player coach Jeremy Cornish is excited about giving another young netminder the chance to make a name for himself
“Liam played with the Newcaslte Vipers last season and is looking to make his mark down south. I think this is a good opportunity for him to come in and work together with Colin and push each other for game time. We were very lucky with Matt last year and this season we have two young goalies looking to come in get as much experience as possible at the senior level. “
There will be two more player announcements before the Bank Holiday weekend.
