Silverthorn cant wait for return
Canadian forward Jason Silverthorn is hoping to make an immediate impact on his return to the Excel Hull Stingrays line-up this weekend. Silverthorn had mixed fortunes on his debut at Coventry Blaze last month, scoring a goal and an assist before sustaining a broken jaw. But he will be back for the home double-header with Nottingham Panthers and Coventry Blaze as will defenceman James Hutchinson after his recovery from a broken hand, meaning Stingrays will be at full-strength for the first time this season. Silverthorn said: "I am desperate to get out there, it's been a while. I would like to think I can make a positive impact. It's going to be a huge weekend taking on the two top teams with a full line-up for the first time. It's going to be exciting and we are looking forward to it. "We have a good team here with a lot of quality and hopefully now we can get over this hump. There is a good feeling in the dressing room and we are definitely looking to get some points. Winning both games would be great and that is our goal."
