Smital rewarded for 500th EPL point
At this Sundays home game versus the Slough Jets Stuart & Katie made a special presentation to Lukas Smital in recognition of his 500th EPIHL point, the special memento on the ice post game.
On 27th December at our home game against the Guildford Flames, Lukas reached the very impressive landmark! In assisting on Martin Masa's first goal that night, he picked up his 500th English Premier Ice Hockey League regular season point! He has achieved this in only 299 games with the Bees and Flames at an impressive average of 1.67 points per match.
Lukas is only the seventh player in league history to break this barrier and is only third among current active players, just behind Steve Moria and Nick Poole.
Lukas' senior career points total now stands at a fantastic 1,027 - earned in some of the toughest leagues in the Czech Republic, USA and UK.
He broke the 1,000 point barrier in Peterborough on 6th November, where his hat-trick helped the Bees beat the Phantoms.
The Bracknell Bees players, management, staff and volunteers would all like to congratulate Lukas on his outstanding achievement.
