The Bracknell Bees are delighted to announce that British forward and former player; Scott Spearing has joined the club.

Following Scott's release by the Slough Jets earlier this week, Bees Head Coach Gareth Cox moved quickly to secure is signature. Gareth said; "I know Scott extremely well and have worked with him in the past. I wanted to bring him back to the Bees in the summer, but unfortunately the option wasn't available".

"He will instantly bring experience and a fresh dynamic to the team. He is the sort of gritty, role-player that you love to have on your team, rather than play against. And he also contributes well on offense, as proven with a nice goal against us only a couple of weekends ago. He knows our boys well and will fit straight in".

Scott left the Bees following the successful 2005/06 season and has split the last few years between the Slough Jets and Basingstoke Bison. It's against the latter that Scott hopes to make his debut appearance for Bracknell this season, when the Bees travel there this Saturday.
