Swindon ready to halt Bison charge
This weekend the Swindon Wildcats will look to add to a successful run of late when they face off at home against the Basingstoke Bison. Having only dropped a point last weekend, the 'Cats look in good form as they take on a team just two points ahead of them in the standings. Both sides have entered 2012 well with good performances being put together alike however when the two meet this coming Saturday, the fixture is sure bring a hard battle for another two point win.
Holding what is undoubtedly one of the most in form netminders in the league, Swindon will look to push forward from the back as Dean Skinns will look to stand strong in net for another important fixture.
Together with the added momentum of having three top imports currently all in the top 15 point scorers in the league, Swindon will hope for a positive result come the end of Saturday night.
Finally the Basingstoke Bison themselves will also look to rely on their form away from home, having won their last 5 games on the road coming into this weekend.
This fixture will without doubt bring a great game of hockey to the Link Centre and one that is not to be missed.
