Swindon v Basingstoke
This Saturday the Swindon Wildcats will look to redeem their poor run of late when they face the Basingstoke Bison at the Link Centre. Both teams are coming off the back of losses to the Guildford Flames and, after a point-less weekend, the Wildcats are eager to bounce back and earn both points off of last season's Elite League team.
Swindon will not only be looking for the win but also redemption after the loss they suffered at the hands of the Bison the last time these two teams met at the Link Centre.
Basingstoke themselves are currently sitting sixth in the league, one place above Swindon with only seven points separating the two teams. Basingstoke are coming off a one in four win, with the Wildcats also looking to end their losing streak of five without reply.
A win for either team would boost their season, putting the Bison back up with the same points as Sheffield or putting Swindon that much closer to the top five and an eventual playoff place.
