Tait back with the Phantoms
Peterborough Phantoms are delighted to announce that Warren Tait will be back in Phantoms colours for the 2011/2012 campaign.
Last season, Tait impressed when switched from forward to play a makeshift defensive role which he adapted to very quickly, using his many years of experience to deliver a string of mature and highly polished performances on the Phantoms blue-line. His versatilty and ability to deliver the goods at both ends of the ice was not lost on new coach Chris Allen, “it’s a huge plus to have Warren back for another season in a Phantoms jersey. He’s a great all round player with a lot of Elite league experience and he’s a coach’s dream when you can play him up on forward, on defense, penalty kill and powerplay. He’s always in great shape and will be ready for anything I ask of him next season. He’s a leader and a great guy to have in the dressing room and it’s a pleasure to work with a player with those kind of qualities. I’m expecting nothing less than for Warren to have a break out season in this, his third campaign with the Phantoms”.
Phantoms expect to make further additions to their roster in the days ahead.
