The hockey season is back, and you can follow it all with us right here on BIH.
We are working on an archive of matches, stats and players from BIH in the past few years.

The Edinburgh Capitals have today been rocked by the news that the North American pair of Adam Taylor and Jacques Perreault have asked to be released from their contracts. The duo become the latest players to depart Murrayfield following in the footsteps of Chris St Jacques, Alex Kim and last week David Lomas.
Taylor who joined from the ECHL’s Victoria Salmon Kings, has been one of the Elite League’s stand out players this season, currently in seventh place in the league’s top points scorers. American defenceman Perreault spent last season with the Quad City Mallards, has been a steadying influence on the Capitals blueline.
Capitals General Manager Scott Neil is bitterly disappointed to be losing further players but confirmed the club is working hard to find replacements.
“After losing St Jacques, Kim and Lomas this has come as a major blow” said Neil. “We did say that we won’t stand in anyone’s way if they wanted to move on from the club, but at the same time it’s very disappointing to lose two integral team players. I would like to wish Adam and Jacques all the best in their future endeavors and thank them for their time with the Edinburgh Capitals.
“Our focus now will be to concentrate on this weekend’s games against Newcastle and Sheffield. It’s not an ideal situation heading into these games so low on bodies, however we have some very committed players on this team still that want to see this hockey club do well.
“We are working hard to try and bolster the team with a number of signings, and have contacted a number of agents and players to see what is available to us for the remainder of the season.”
Both Adam Taylor and Jacques Perreault are released with immediate effect and will not ice in this weekend’s Elite League schedule.
The Sheffield Steelers are visitors to Murrayfield on Sunday (6.00pm face-off) in Elite League action. Tickets are available now via edinburgh-capitals.com priced at £15.00 for adults, £11.00 for concessions, £7.00 for children and £37.00 for a family (2 adults & 2 children).
