The hockey season is back, and you can follow it all with us right here on BIH.

The Bracknell Bees have received a welcome boost ahead of its 2010/11 English Premier Ice Hockey League (EPIHL) campaign after one of its main sponsors Thames Fiat renewed its sponsorship term for a fourth successive year.
The premier Bath Road dealership in Slough, which recently topped the sales leaderboard for the most Fiat cars sold in the country, has made available two 06 dual branded Fiat 500 cars for Bees’ Czech players Michal Pinc, Valdemar Pelikovsky and 2009/10 EPIHL Player of the Year, Jaroslav Cesky.
Speaking in response to Thames’ investment and ongoing affiliation with the Bees, team owner Katie Eleftheriou says: “We take pride in everything that we do at the Hive and, therefore, feel proud that Thames has decided to renew its commitment with us for a fourth term.
“Within their own respective field, Thames has demonstrated the ability to raise the bar year on year. What’s more, their long-standing relationship with sport in the community, particularly young people, aligns itself to being forward thinking, which is something that we’re also very passionate about and committed too for the long haul.
“Thames’ association with key Bees’ talent will not only help to promote the Club to the wider audience, but enable us, through the ambitions of new Head Coach Gareth Cox, to build a stronger, faster and more entertaining team,” added Eleftheriou.
Tim Fennell, sales manager for Thames Fiat, says: “As a business, we have always been keen to invest in young talent and encourage those who want to advance themselves to do so. The management team at Bracknell Bees are extremely dedicated in what they do, and share our approach by looking to drive opportunities for young people in the local community - and provide them with a club that they can feel proud to be associated.
“At Thames, we never look at any sponsorship term as a figure or a number, more so a period of ongoing investment. Our goal-set and corporate responsibility (CR) is carefully thought-out to help nurture some of the best local talent around, and make the impossible possible,” explains Fennell.
