The Sheriff joins Simms & Roberts @ BIH
British Ice Hockey are delighted to announce three additions to their blogging team. Following in the footsteps of the Braehead Clan’s Adam Walker, BIH will also boast Sean McMorrow, Dave Simms and Stewart Roberts as bloggers during the 2010/11 season.
McMorrow is currently the Elite League’s heavyweight champion having iced last season with the Belfast Giants. This season however he has accepted the opportunity to join the Dundee Stars in their first season in the UK’s top flight. Sean will be blogging fornightly on everything going on in the Elite League, Dundee and maybe even who is challenging him next!
Dave Simms is no stranger to many British Ice Hockey fans, for the last eighteen years he has been involved with the Sheffield Steelers in various forms from General Manager or match night announcer. Dave is highly passionate about the sport and while controversial his articles in Powerplay Magazine are always an interesting read. Dave like McMorrow will be providing his views on happenings every two weeks.
Stewart Roberts is the editor of the bible of British Ice Hockey, The Ice Hockey Annual. Now in his 35th year as editor, Stewart has certainly seen the highs and lows of the sport in the UK and has in the past written a blog for the Annual’s own website. Stewart will be covering everything from the day to day politics of the sport to attempts to get his beloved Brighton Tigers back on the ice.
