Three confirm commitment to Rays

Hull Stingrays Head Coach, Sylvain Cloutier has received a treble boost to his rebuilding plans with the news that British duo, Lee and Craig Mitchell and Canadian netminder, Christian Boucher have all reaffirmed their commitment to the club ahead of the new Elite Ice Hockey League season.
Lee, the elder of the two Scottish brothers, will be joining up for his sixth season with the Stingrays whilst nineteen year old Craig will be returning for his second term in Hull colours. Twenty three year old Lee will be returning to the club on the back of making his full Great Britain debut at the 2010 World Championships in Slovenia whilst Craig has now established himself as a key member of the Great Britain Under 20 team.
Twenty six year old Boucher joins the Stingrays on the back of a Championship winning season with the Nijmegen Devils in the Netherlands.
“These were three key players to hang on to,” said Cloutier. “and I’m delighted that they’ve all committed themselves to the club. Considering the turmoil of the last few weeks, the attitude of all three of them and their desire to wear the Stingrays jersey has been fantastic.”
The new Stingrays organisation would like to remind supporters that there will be a fans forum with an opportunity to meet the new management team this Thursday at 7.30pm in the bar at the Hull Arena. Season ticket information is available to download from www.hullstingrays.co.uk
