Tough weekend for Steeldogs
The Sheffield Steeldogs have two tricky games in an action packed weekend.
Peterborough Phantoms strengthened their squad by signing up one of their ex-players Tom Carlon soon after he was released from Slough Jets, and Phantoms will want to erase the defeat handed out on 30th December.
Steeldogs have had a fantastic first half of the season, punching well above their weight in this competitive league with a mainly Sheffield-born team and only three imports.
They have achieved a Cup semi-final spot v Milton Keynes (fixture dates are being arranged) and are currently tied with Manchester Phoenix on points in 4th & 5th places, but they have not yet beaten Slough Jets this season. Andre will be determined to rectify this on Sunday.
Both Shane and Andre were delighted with the big crowds over the bank holiday games and thank all the fans for their great support.
Can we do it again this weekend and give the players a New Year boost?
To help our fans attend both games this weekend, the Steeldogs are offering a discounted ticket to all those wishing to join us at iceSheffield on Saturday and Sunday.
Ticket Offer:
If fans buy tickets for both games on Saturday, the prices are reduced to:
Adult £15.00, Concessions £10.00, Child £5.00 (U 8's Free) and Family £36.00.
Single game tickets are at the usual price of:
Adult £9.00, Concessions £6.50, Child £3.50 (U 8's Free) and Family £20.
