Tylor Michel returns to South Wales for another season with the Devils.

The popular forward enjoyed a career year with Cardiff last season (improving his previous best 7 goals to an impressive 20) whilst showing he could play on any line and in any situation required.

“Tylor was a big plus from last season and has earned the right to come back and help us challenge for honours." Said Head coach Gerad Adams of Michel. "He came with expectations of being a gritty hard working player but he proved to be much more than that. He scored 20 valuable goals including several game winners, played the back end of our powerplay extremely well and provided more than adequate cover on defense when needed."

The signing of Michel has been one of the most-talked about topics for Devils fans along with the potential return of Brad Voth, who is still in talks.

Known for his gritty, no-nonsense approach to the game, Michel's first season in the UK saw him pick up both the fans and coaches player of the year award at the end of the campaign. He is a versatile player who will bring tenacity, a high work-rate and 100% effort to every shift for the Devils and Adams is pleased to have him in the line-up.

"We will be looking to use his versatility again this season and he is another valuable piece of the puzzle for us” he continued. "Last year showed once again that having players who can adapt and will throw themselves into the job at hand 100% can make a huge difference when it counts."

The Devils have also agreed terms with a defencemen and look to announce his signing in the next few days, once paperwork has been received.
