Vipers look to Win with Winn's

Winn Solicitors are the new title sponsors of the Newcastle Vipers, the club have confirmed today.

The accident management specialists are recognised as a national leader in their field, and have been a corporate supporter of the Vipers for several seasons.

Announcing the deal at Winn's Head Office in Newcastle, Vipers GM Jaimie Longmuir said: "We're delighted to be welcoming Jeff Winn and his organisation as title sponsor.

"Jeff has been a terrific supporter of the club over the past few years, and it seemed like a natural progression for Winn Solicitors to take on the role of title sponsor.

"It's an exciting new chapter in the club's future, and we are absolutely thrilled that Jeff will be part of that."

Club chairman Paddy O'Connor echoed those comments, saying: "Having organisations such as Winn Solicitors involved with the Newcastle Vipers is huge for the club.  They are a local company with a national customer base.

"It is a tough financial climate as everyone knows, so the support of people like Jeff and his company is crucial to the club's continued growth.

"I'd like to thank Jeff and Winn Solicitors for their ongoing support and hope we can continue our working relationship for many seasons to come."

Managing Director of Winn Solicitors, Jeff Winn, added: "We've had a long association with the Vipers, and having enjoyed the hockey and had several clients along to matches, we decided to take it one step further and become title sponsors.

"It obviously gives us a wide advertising base with the brand on the jersey which will be in local and national media.  Also the work the club does in the community through their foundation has also impressed, and I am only too happy to be involved in that.

"I have enjoyed going to the games and watching the Vipers, ice hockey is an exciting sport and I hope this season is a successful one for the Vipers."
