The hockey season is back, and you can follow it all with us right here on BIH.
We are working on an archive of matches, stats and players from BIH in the past few years.
Telford Tigers player-coach Tom Watkins will be reunited with a former team mate this weekend - but unfortunately ex-Coventry forward Adam Calder will be lining up on the other side of the ice, with opponents Slough Jets.
Canadian-born Calder, 34, signed with Slough just a couple of weeks ago after six Elite League seasons at Blaze and a stint in Italy, instantly raising the bar for quality imports in the Premier League.
And the tough weekend continues as Tigers follow up Saturday's road trip with a home ice fixture against Basingstoke Bison on Sunday (5.30pm).
"These are two of the top-end teams so it's not going to be easy,"
said Watkins.
"It is going to be fun at Slough seeing Adam Calder again. Slough have a lot of guys who can play very well at this level and they are quite a physical team so we will have to be ready to do battle.
"We are not a particularly physical side, but I think the changes we've made recently have brought more physicality to our team. Last Sunday against Milton Keynes was the most hits we've made in a game
"Basingstoke skate well and tend to have good control of the game. We will have to try to improve our puck possession and create offensive chances.
"We play with bags of energy and that's how we have to approach games to have any chance. All teams have the odd off night, but mostly we play with honesty and give it our all. Sometimes we come up short, but I really can't ask for more from the guys.
"Last Sunday we played all-out and we were only five minutes short of some points. Given how small our team is, and that we don't have the most experienced players, I was really pleased with how we performed.
"Having more depth by adding a few guys is helping us to maintain consistency through games. It's just a shame that losing Joe Henry has thrown a bit of a spanner in the works right now."
Henry is currently out with a broken knee-cap, weakening Telford's offence and compromising the young forward's development time at Coventry Blaze, with whom he has a two-way contract.
However, the 21-year-old is hopeful of a speedy return to the ice,
saying: "It's feeling better although it still aches a lot. I went to the fracture clinic and they said I should be able to start skating again in four weeks. I'll need another couple of weeks recovery and physio. They were surprised I tried to play on it last weekend, but I did need a lot of painkillers.
"The injury happened in the Sheffield game (Jan 2). I got hit from behind and my shin pad moved to the side as I went down and I landed on my knee. All I can do at the moment is keep going to the gym and try to keep fit while I'm out."
Doors open on Sunday at 4.45pm with face off against Basingstoke Bison at 5.30pm.
