Watt? Jasik returns!

Peter Jasik became the 4th import announced for the Bracknell Bees 2010/11 campaign on Thursday.

The Slovakian born left winger returns to the club for his 3rd term after a season at local rivals Slough Jets. Last time he pulled on the black, white and gold of the Bees Jasik produced an impressive 80 points. Bracknell fans will be hoping the 30 year old can leave last season’s injury worries behind him at the hanger, where he only iced in 39 games. Even with his lack of ice time, Peter still amassed an impressive tally of over 50 points. “Jazz Hands” was one of many players who left the club before the start of last season amid questions over ownership and the future of the team. All that seems to be well and truly behind the club now as a bright future beckons under one of the leagues most committed management teams.

Also returning for September is last season’s top Brit scorer Nicky Watt. His signature seals the return of last seasons 1st line, where Watt scored 26 goals and totalled 38 assists for a 64 point season alongside Czech duo Cesky and Pinc. His impressive form over the season included a 5 goal hoard against the Romford Raiders and 2 man of the match awards. Watt returns to the Hive despite receiving interest around the league. Famed for his tough no nonsense attitude and aggressive style of play Nicky Watt was last seasons alternate captain, and one of the very first players to put pen to paper for the previous campaign.

The club also launched their season ticket packages for the forthcoming year; further details are available on the Bees official site.
