We will play short rather than like this
David Matsos said this morning that he would rather play short than witness the team playing as they did for much of Saturdays game in Nottingham. "I was so upset on Saturday, I'm sure I wasn't alone" said Matty "yet again we made a few little mistakes and got punished every time, how many times do we have to reiterate to guys the same message. They must be fed up of hearing by now as I am fed up of saying the same things.
"We are not asking one player to do one thing out of their ability level, we are not asking one of them to do anything that they haven't done before and done very well.
"I'm at the stage that I would rather play short then continue to go through this again time after time. We are looking and looking hard for new staff but even if I can't find anyone in time I think we would be better short than continuing to make the same mistakes.
"I feel let down and more so I feel I'm letting Bob, Mike and the fans down and that's just eating away at me.
"The first period was excellent last night, we battled, we worked hard and we did everything we set out to do. The third wasn't bad either but it was all too late by then, we just kicked ourselves in the foot in the 2nd, we just got off the plan all together.
"I'm sorry for all those who paid good money to go to Nottingham and watch, especially there.
"We will put this right I assure you".
