Whitley will make it difficult, says Domish

Defenceman Jerramie Domish believes that the Sheffield Steelers can build on last Sunday’s hard fought win against the Coventry Blaze as they travel to Tyneside on Saturday to face the Newcastle Vipers (7.00pm face-off). Domish who joined the Steelers from the Vipers during the summer, acknowledged while it was tough to lose in Cardiff, the team had been given a boost following their win at the Motorpoint Arena.
“Last Saturday’s loss in Cardiff was a tough one to take” said the American blueliner. “So Sunday was good for us to bounce back with a win against a tough Coventry team. It was vital for us to get the two points after the Cardiff defeat to stay in the race for the league title. We’re hoping to continue that against the Vipers on Saturday.
“Having only one game at the weekend, I expect an all out attitude towards this game from myself and all the guys. No team can take any other teams likely in this league, just look at Vipers result against Coventry two weeks ago. Whitley Bay is a difficult place to go and play and anything can happen in that place. Whichever team comes out and executes their game plan correctly will come out on top.”
Tickets for one of the Steelers biggest games of the season against the Nottingham Panthers on Sunday 26th December (5.00pm face-off) are available now. Tickets are priced at £16.00 for adults, £10.50 for concessions, £5.00 for under 16’s, £2.50 for under 10’s with under 5’s going free and can be purchased via sheffeildsteelers.co.uk.
