Wildcats Ban Bullying Charity Match

Official Swindon Wildcats Media Release
Tags Swindon Wildcats

This Saturday the Wildcats look to take on the Sheffield Scimitars for the first time this season, in what should be a very close game. Seven points separate the two sides and with Swindon having a game in hand, this would be a perfect opportunity to gain some ground on the teams above in playoff positions. Sheffield are also coming off the back of a pointless weekend whilst Swindon took two points from last weekend at home against Guildford. Another performance such as the one seen last Saturday and it will give Swindon a real chance at increase their home record and come away with the maximum two points.

Saturday is also special for the club in that they will be icing in support of the National Ban bullying week. The Wildcats who have the National Bullying Helpline as their designated charity will be visiting schools during the week alongside Christine Pratt of the Helpline to speak to the children on the subject; before taking on the Sheffield Scimitars that night, where funds will be raised. The Wildcats will be wearing special shirts during the evening in the distinctive purple colours of the National Bullying Helpline to encourage this charity for the special event.

The game will face off at the usual time of 5:45pm and fans can buy their tickets in advance for this game by calling 01793 445566 or by
