Wildcats eye up road trip success
The Swindon Wildcats face two tough road trips this coming weekend, with preparations already underway for Saturday's clash against fifth placed Milton Keynes Lightning on away ice. On Saturday evening the two sides will meet in what is always a great fixture of hockey, with both hunting another two point win to climb the table. The Lightning are coming off the back of a mixed weekend themselves, whilst the 'Cats will take back to back wins on the road as they face a team just 8 points ahead of them.
After the clash on Saturday, the Swindon Wildcats will once again take to the road the following evening as they look to face top of the league side - the Guildford Flames. Despite sitting in top position in the EPL, a result that saw the Bracknell Bees overcome the Flames last weekend proves that any score can happen in such a tightly contested league.
The weekend is looking to be one that may test a Wildcat side, however with recent positive results and performances, Swindon will be sure to make the most of a weekend where 4 more points are up for grabs.
Swindon will next return to home ice on the 25th February, when they take on 10th place side the Telford Tigers in which the club will also be running a Kids Go Free campaign for all children. Make sure you catch what will be a fantastic game at the Link Centre when the puck drops at 5:45.
