Wildcats looking for Lightning strike
This Sunday the Swindon Wildcats look to face league leaders the MK Lightning for the third time in three weeks. The Wildcats are yet to beat the top side this season, however pushing for an overtime point last weekend and only just losing at home the weekend before, they are sure to make this no easy game for the Lightning.
Although MK look like the stronger side on paper, the 'Cats could very well churn out a win after recently turning out some consistent performances both home and away. As well as taking the confidence from earning three vital points from their last two games, one of these being away to the Lightning last weekend.
The Lightning will come to the Link Centre on a six game winning streak come Sunday, not before playing an out of form Sheffield Scimitars side in a mid week fixture.
It will be a tough weekend for the Wildcats however with an away game Saturday also away to Sheffield, a two if not three point weekend is very much possible.
It will be the last time the Lightning visit Swindon this season, so the 'Cats will be looking to end this recent rivalry with a vital two point win and another game to add to their recent form of late.
